Meet "A"
Simplicity Décor didn't just happen over night, but has been a dream of mine for many years. Even when I was very young I loved to look at interior design and architectural magazines. I love to play with color and decorate my own home but didn't know if I could actually translate that love into my own business. To make a long story short, after law school and pursuing the path of justice for many years I realized that I needed to pursue my true ambition. I applied for a scholarship to come to the US and make my dream come true; and after receiving another Bachelor's degree I worked at Crate and Barrel until I was ready to take Simplicity to the next step and simply start my own business.
On February 10th, 2006 my dream came true. I opened Simplicity Décor, a unique furniture, home decor, accessories and gift store in wonderful downtown Kirkland. I admit that opening my own business has not been the simplest part of my story, but it sounds good!
Meet “A” again…It’s been over a year now since I opened the store. Thank you so much for your support and friendship. I feel so very lucky to be accepted with wide open arms from everyone. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and be a resource for your home décor idea as well as gift destination. I will continue to work very hard to find the unique and tasteful merchandises along with the beautiful but simple display with the very reasonable price for you.
